Walter and Ella Munson Davis, had a contractor build this house in 1925 according to her design. Ella’s parents lived on this same rural road. The house is as it was built: only the tile roof replaced and minor interior renovations made. The house is filled with light, having 33 windows. The picturesque effect of the house and lawn with its bright red barn, gardens and American flag is so dramatic that passers-by often stop and take photographs, even offer to buy the house.
