This house is located on land owned by Christian and Christina Frickey, German immigrants Mr. Frickey established a nursery here, penitentiary inmates helped clear the heavily-forested land. Early property owners were T. M. and Eva Hicks. In 1928 the property was sold to M. D. Keeney, a watchman for Reid Murdock and Co.; an earlier resident was Warren Keeney, an employee of Director’s Department Store. It was later the residence of the Lambert family including Ed Lambert who worked for United Airlines
